NAWBO Holiday Party, Act II
Shortly after being awarded a Best Of Atlanta prize, I was invited to the National Association Of Women Business Owners 2011 holiday party at Tootsies. Thus began a special relationship. Thank you, NAWBO Atlanta, for two years of stylish networking.

Eco Style: Julie Bee's Shoes
Julie Brown possesses the sort of infectious enthusiasm that is also focused. No energy does she waste and the proof is found in a fully realized line of shoes bearing her name. All are California-made from sustainably produced or reused materials.

Indie Craft Experience, Part V
Longtime readers may remember her previous appearances. Ever bohemian, she artfully applies rough edges for a look all her own.

Julie Bee's shoes first came to my attention at an Eco Style South trunk show last year. By sourcing anew with an eye to sustainability and upcycling vintage materials, Ms. Brown has produced an enviable line of footwear right here in Atlanta.

Thursdays At Paris On Ponce
Born in Washington and raised in Richmond, I'm rather fond of this flask. It was made by Bethany of Foxboxes and came from their trunk show at Paris On Ponce. Atlanta's emporium of bohemian delights is keeping Thursday hours until nine o'clock this holiday season. Care to try your hand at something crafty?
My sweetheart and her sister attended this evening terrarium workshop and so may you.

At Beth Ann Style: Touchstone Collection
Beth Ann Taratoot has been a friend of this blog from its early days, so when she invited me to see this Touchstone trunk show,
I had to post about it. Such shopping is an education. Her friend Veronica Kaplan is a curator of folk art rarities, many of which are on display today and tomorrow at the Irby Avenue boutique. Gentlemen: the Rib Ranch is nearby, but you should spend a few momements in awe of the artistry before withdrawing. Ladies: while some of the prices do reflect the offerings' unique natures,
all are good values and start from $30.

Street Scene: North Highland Avenue
More than just eye catching, some outfits tell wonderful stories, too. She remembers mending this thrifted coat while waiting for a train in France. Her repurposed bag began life as a Polaroid accessories case. The boots were won from an eBay auction and the dress was found at a Youngblood Gallery clothing swap.

ArtCAN, Act VI
It was my good fortune to have attended ArtCAN as a media guest. The evening of dance, music, fine art and hors d'oeuvres benefited pancreatic cancer research and took place in the Atlanta Ballet's Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre. Their coordinating heels, handkerchief and bowtie make a charming statement of solidarity.
