At The Grant Park Farmers Market, Act II

Her harem pants and shawl are souvenirs of Thailand and Blue Ridge, Georgia, respectively. Like the Grant Park Farmers Market, she displays a spirited fusion of global influences and healthy, local goodness. This being the final market of their season, vendors are promising a memorable harvest. For the after party, bring a dish to the End Of Season Community Potluck from 2-4pm at the Miller Mansion, 622 Grant Street.

How fitting that WABE's newly expanded Second Cup Concert would play La Mer by Claude Debussy while I blog about nautical style. Seen yesterday in Little Five Points, her sailor dress was thrifted at the Roswell Goodwill.

IMG_0687
With one Sunday remaining in this season of the Grant Park Farmers' Market, the Grant Park Conservancy and Six Feet Under are joining forces tomorrow to raise money for the market. Whether you dine in or takeaway between 4pm and midnight, be sure to leave your bill with the receptionist and 20% of it will become a donation to make next year's markets even better.
See you there!

On The Road: Richmond, Virginia

No visit to my hometown of Richmond would be complete without visiting Bygones. It was here that I acquired my taste for buying vintage clothing and a necktie or two from this very shop remain in my wardrobe today. As ever, the windows are spectacular. Thank you, Maynee, for the calendar and Tina for sharing your great style on that rainy afternoon.
