What better place for the Barking Hound Village Foundation's Puppy Love Party than Sophie's? Their shared mission of animal rescue is working to open a second BHVF adoption center this spring. Donations of a dog bed and a pet portrait have been raffled, but the 55" flat screen television remains up for grabs. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. A winner will be named on March 31st.

A Picnic In Oakland By Belles 'n' Beaux
On an unseasonably warm January day, the plan was made to feature stylings by Belles 'n' Beaux on this blog. Ali and Blake dressed the cast of models for a picnic. Somehow everyone's schedules aligned on Sunday afternoon, just in time for a blustery chill worthy of Chicago. Troopers all, their smiles are genuine and delightful fun it was producing these images in the half hour we could endure. Please follow this link for more looks.

Being house photographer to the Atlanta chapter of the National Association Of Women Business Owners is more than a source of great looks to share with you. Today's talk on social networking by Barb Giamanco gave this blogger much food for thought on sales and marketing. Thank you, NAWBO.

At Condesa: Harmony
Free People made those shades of blue dance. Her grey cardigan came from Target. Tommy Hilfiger jeans and Liz Claiborne shoes complete the look. Not much is known about his thrifted sweater, but aren't you glad he found it? A cardigan from J. Crew, jeans from Urban Outfitters and Sperry deck shoes allow his signature element the space it demands. What a lovely vibe they share.

Atlanta Apparel, Part VI
Her BIYA | JOHNNY WAS dress proved a good match for today's false spring, being a somber, seasonal color yet gossamer for the unseasonal warmth. Its details are the stuff of romance.

Atlanta Apparel, Part V
Wooden Ships knitted wear first came to my attention in this posting from last winter's snow. Despite today's warmth, two brave, lovely souls from the Molly Hurley & Associates showroom modeled the honey comb and mossy green sweaters for me. Let's hope for a few days yet to enjoy such coziness.
