What began last month with shout out for the new blog Belles 'n' Beaux evolved today into a planned collaboration. Ali and Blake will style some looks for me to photograph in iconic Atlanta settings. The first location we have scouted is Paris On Ponce. From its BeltLine frontage to the treasures within, this Aladdin's cave promises a world of possibilities. Doesn't Ali resemble an off-duty model from Altamira, one who's not even trying? Just wait 'til she and Blake put their heads together.

Being named Best Fashion Blogger for 2011 by Atlanta Magazine does bring its perks. When last month TOOTSIES hosted the National Association of Women Business Owners' holiday party, I was invited to blog about it here. Thursday's luncheon in the Buckhead Club was more businesslike, but still afforded fashion hunting in a rarefied atmosphere twenty-six stories above Peachtree Road. Guest speaker Annette Saldana gave account of her entrepreneurial insights in a talk called "The Art & Science of Irresistible Requests".
