Christina Swilley first came to my attention in Little Five Points, where she was seen rocking a black romper and a white parasol. Thus began a splendid friendship. With her daughters, she has posed for a Mother's Day post. Says she, Come celebrate the opening of Collect with us! Guest DJ Alix Brown will be playing records. Timothy Faulkner will be making drinks. We will be dancing. You might get a free tattoo.
Hope to see you!

It was a pleasure seeing Christina on that bountiful March Wednesday. We agreed: vintage Porsches have great style. At home on either side of a camera, she blogs, too. Follow this link to her world, Sunday.

Sunday afternoon I dropped by Paris On Ponce, where Christina Swilley is selling vintage clothing from her Sunday Shoppe collection. We crowd sourced two models for some dress up fun, this pose featuring an exhuberant bow by Bill Blass. Clothes really do lend confidence and brighten the world. Festivities will continue on summer Sundays from 2-5pm. See you there!

Blog Rolling In Little Five Points

Saturday's PATH and BeltLine ride yielded more than a Mother's Day posting. In addition to raising those two, Christina has given herself the job of blogger. Sundayshoppe.com is her visual diary in images both digital and analog. For our blogging summit, she chose this Fuji instant camera, which, in her hands, produces monochromatic prints at turns dreamy and quirky. We agreed that thrift shopping leaves money in the budget for splurging; witness those patent leather shoes from Billy Reid.
