Atlanta Cycling Festival: Act I

Cruising for three years on a small sailboat tests ones ingenuity and perseverance. The Bicycle Wrap Skirt from Feather and Fin is the fruit of such experience. A row of hidden snaps on the hem prevent fly-up and two removable straps keep it clear of the wheel. This elegant cycling solution is made from a comfy blend of linen and cotton, features one deep pocket and a clever envelope pouch on the waist just right for a telephone. Now fully funded by Kickstarter, the first production should be realized in August. Reserve yours here.

At the close of 2012, Georgia Power had 11 megawatts of installed solar capacity. That figure is projected to become 880 MW in 2016. Celebrating this growth and our abundant sunshine, the Southern Alliance For Clean Energy organized for the Atlanta Cycling Festival a Bike Tour For Solar (a.k.a. Tour du Soliel).

A few tickets remain for the Park Pride Community Garden Tour. Like last year, there will be a bus, but bikes are the way to experience and share all our city has to offer. The ride begins and ends at the Elliott Street Pub, kicking off the week long Atlanta Cycling Festival. See you there!
