At Beth Ann: Une Soirée
When long-time friends of ASF at Beth Ann invited me to their Summer Soirée, I happily accepted. More than an evening of fashionable fun, it was an opportunity to blog some great styles while planning future collaborations. Merci beaucoup!

The BeltLine Revisited
Four months ago, this stretch of the BeltLine from Montgomery Ferry Road to the corner of 10th Street and Monroe Drive was just emerging from an Atlanta winter. Now lush with growth of summer, it played host this morning to area bird watchers, cyclists, dog walkers and a group of artists in search of sites for their proposed installations. Keep an eye on the Atlanta BeltLine website for finalist notifications beginning next week. The corridor affords an amazing range of opportunities for murals, performance art and sculpture.

In Emory Village: RiKARiKA
Selections from the RiKA RiKA Deco Bouquet summer collection have arrived at Evolve Boutique. These vintage silks are former obi or kimono fabrics artfully reborn as new garments, inviting wearers to write the next chapters of their histories. Says the designer, "My hope is for my creations to be worn, displayed or carried as anyone would a precious piece of jewelry, a delicate flower, or their favourite toy as a child."

The Heat Of Summer: Food Trucks At Woodruff Arts Center
Beating the heat in style requires nothing more a few, well-chosen elements...and a place to see and be seen. Somebody made his own cool breeze to arrive aboard that vintage BSA motorbike. Possibly the cutest wheels in this mobile food court belong to Souper Jenny, whose salad of buttery avocado, black beans, cilantro, crunchy corn and cucumber seemed to lower the ambient temperature by five degrees Fahrenheit.
