They had been shopping at the Army Surplus Store, still in business all these years at 342 Peachtree Street, where they found her scarf. The plaid skirt was a lucky thrift score from long ago at Last Chance in Morrow, Georgia and remains a wardrobe staple. Target provided their cable knit and Argyle patterned sweaters. Not only does it still fit her, the happy couple celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary yesterday. 1972 marked the final year of America's Apollo moon missions and the debut of England's Roxy Music. The Raleigh Super Course was a ten-speed bike of choice in that era and this well-preserved example remains someone's pride and joy today.
