Thanks. Approaching strangers to pay complements and ask for portraits is not easy. First, I smile and attempt to make eye contact. If those overtures are not reciprocated, I move on, but if the response is positive, I say something nice about the outfit and mention the blog. Moo cards of former postings are most helpful here because someone can visualise her/himself as a subject. This far into the approach I rarely hear no. Always take multiple images and share them for feedback. If necessary, retake. Always thank your subjects. Hope this helps!
