People's Climate March Tomorrow
Atlanta has the potential to be a very loud voice in the international cry for strong climate action ahead of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Paris (especially since our own Mayor Reed will be there!) which begins on November 30th. Spearheaded by a diverse group of dedicated volunteers representing Georgia non-profit organizations, businesses, academia, activists, religious groups, government and more, this march is already several hundred strong. The People's Climate March in Atlanta is intended to be a peaceful, yet forceful demonstration of Atlanta's commitment to the global climate movement. We hope to bring together people of all different backgrounds and interests to show that climate change is a mainstream issue, and that we demand action from our local and world leaders on climate. Join us for the People's Climate March happening here in Atlanta on November 29th.

Un Peu d'Histoire
Rummaging in the archive produced a memory of 2004, when the Bobby Jones biopic "Stroke Of Genius" was being filmed in Atlanta. These people are extras who formed the gallery surrounding a green at a climactic moment in the tournament. I had been watching them for some time. Suddenly she turned.

Decatur Stroll: Act I
As a boy, I lived in my favorite Minnetonka beaded moccasins. A search for a contemporary replacement found plenty of styles, just none for men. Disappointment turned to delight and surprise yesterday when I spied his exuberant beading from Italian-American maker, Del Toro.

Guest Blogger: Daniel Mueller
An accomplished barista, Daniel recently surprised me with some impressive portraiture. While I knew of his macro photography, he has made quite the transition from spiders to people. Here is the first installment, a moody gaze down Boulevard where it ducks beneath Hulsey Yard. Cue The Pogues 'Dirty Old Town' and admire how chiaroscuro at the vanishing point complements her floral dress.

Crafts and Drafts Today
Just in time for Crafts & Drafts, Leigh has arranged a fresh crop of colorful button flower bouquets. No two are alike, and all are vintage, thoughtfully stacked and grouped. Stems are genuine floral wire and tape, of course. See them, and much more crafty goodness, this afternoon in Candler Park.

Bike Commuter Breakfast Tomorrow
There are no chocolate croissants quite like those baked at Alon's, site of Thursday's Bike Commuter Breakfast. The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition has chosen the popular Morningside café for its November gathering. Stop by between 7 and 9 am to catch up with friends who prefer pedal power in a city renown for motor traffic. Rsvp on Facebook.
