Eat, Shop, Wag and Purr your way through Virginia-Highland on August 18, when the neighborhood lends its support to the Atlanta Humane Society. Those in need of a furry fix be warned: The Adoption Bus will be on site to tempt you with a special sort of unconditional love. In the interest of full disclosure, I must acknowledge that our wee beastie came from the AHS nine years ago. 'Twas a happy decision and one of you might be next to take the plunge!
