  4. Serendipitous backstory: the lady in green outside of Oakland Cemetery is my wife's dear friend who spent the day knocking around Atlanta with us. When the well-preserved Karman Ghia appeared, I thought 'portrait'! Sunday's blustery chill lent her that intrepid air. Then we noticed the old war bird circling the capitol building. Her dad was a B-17 pilot in the 8th Air Force and we surmised that it might be found at PDK. Within two hours we saw the Liberty Belle taking flight and after its return, walked through the fuselage.
