Get Stitchy This Wednesday

Following her appearance at Sunday's Fox Theater Block Party, Sarah Roberts of In The Quiet Hours will teach a workshop Wednesday evening at the I.C.E. Studio in Candler Park. Says she, "This small group workshop will move you past the daisy and back stitches and give your embroidery more dimension and creativity. Email me to sign up."

Sarah Roberts slows the hectic pace of motherhood with needle work. "Hand embroidery is an accessible way for our every day household working fabrics to bear a symbol of patience, humble beautification, and of course, love," says she. Look for In The Quiet Hours among the vendors at Vintage Soireé this Saturday. Betsy and Timothy are opening their home to an event that is "not quite a yard sale, not quite a vintage clothing store, but is 100% fun." Bring your favorite slabs of vinyl to enliven the gathering.
