Homage to The Sartorialist
An inspiration to this blog and countless others, Scott Schuman's worldly look at street styles, The Sartorialist, is a modern success story. Says he, "When I worked in the fashion industry (15 years), I always felt that there was a disconnect between what I was selling in the showroom and what I was seeing real people (really cool people) wearing in real life." That instinct has been recognized as one of Time Magazine's Top 100 Design Influencers. GQ publishes his monthly column and his photo book is must reading for the style conscious, some hundred of whom converged upon the Hagedorn Gallery last night to meet him.
