It was my good fortune to have attended ArtCAN as a media guest. The evening of dance, music, fine art and hors d'oeuvres benefited pancreatic cancer research and took place in the Atlanta Ballet's Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre. North Carolina artist Arlissa Vaughn donated her painting of a water wheel to the juried auction. When I mentioned the blog's floral complements, she hastened to tell me of her 50 State Flowers project.
