A Good Vintage

While contemporary commuters often sit in gridlocked traffic, a well preserved, 1978 Schwinn Suburban promised a healthier alternative that he realises today, thanks to Craig's List.

For the sake of a tiny hole, Urban Outfitters sold her this cardigan for five dollars. The suede handbag still contains bits of London. A thrifty shopper, she told me, "Five dollar boots and a fifty dollar dress, that's how I do it."

What a glorious Sunday afternoon this was for Atlanta. A nip in the air, autumn color and the kindest of difused light showed these city cyclists to advantage. Anyone looking for an awesome vintage vélo would do well to investigate local postings on Craig's List.
